Los Angeles Vibe

Welcome to the homepage of the 2010 expansion team, the Los Angeles Vibe.

After a solid but unspectacular first season, Los Angeles fans have to be hoping that the typical trend of expansion teams doing much better in their second season will hold true for them as well.  The Vibe certainly seem to have the tools available to them to just do that.  While last season often saw them using somewhat subpar lineups due to the unavailability of their top players, the addition of IM Zhanibek Amanov to the squad should definitely provide them with more flexibility at the top to hopefully avoid that issue which definitely seemed to affect them in 2010.

But naturally, with all the teams in the USCL having strong lineups available, something special needs to be found for any team to help them rise above the field.  As has been shown time and time again, this often can come down to the performance of their young stars, and the Vibe have added two exceptional ones in 2011 in NM Varun Krishnan and Albert Lu.  With many powerful lineups available, if a year's experience can help Los Angeles be stronger all around, their 2010 result of finishing just out of the playoffs may well be something drastically improved upon.
