What we are Looking for:

1. In our first year we are looking for teams from big areas. If your area has a major league sports team in any of the four major sports, then you are definitely big enough.
2. We are looking for cities and clubs that would be dedicated to the league for multiple seasons. We want this league to become a permanent fixture in the chess world.
3. We are looking for cities that would almost always field a four player team with an average rating near 2300 USCF, and preferably closer to 2350- 2400 USCF.
4. We are looking for exactly eight cities in our premeire season. Our plan is to expand by two teams every year for a few years, depending on the success and popularity of the league.
