New York Knights
GM Alex Stripunsky

Answer: Stripunsky played the shocking
...15....Qg3.

An invasive move that creates many threats, as now black plans to play
to play Nde5, distracting the f3 knight which defends against ...Qh2
checkmate.
Nakamura replied with 16.Nd1

It's unclear at first as to
what white's plan is after Nde5, as it almost seems as if this forces
immediate resignation, however Hikaru had a trick up his sleeve as
after Stripunsky's 16...Nde5, Nakamura replied with 17.Kh1!

Now it's suddenly unclear as to how Stripunsky should continue. The
cute point of this move is that now black has no time to capture on f3
because white would simply play fxg3. How did Stripunsky finish the
attack?
