Playoff season is here again, and if it's going to be as
exciting and dramatic as the Week 10 action, all USCL fans are in for a
treat. The first round matches are New York vs Carolina and Seattle vs
Dallas, with Boston and San Francisco receiving a first round bye. The
way the league rules work, are that up until the USCL Championship
Match, the team with the better regular season record gets draw odds
against the lower ranked team, and thus advances to the next round on a
draw. The team that is giving the draw odds does have the right to
choose their team's color for the match, and this was due by Thursday
9:00 PM.
In the New York vs Carolina matchup, Carolina has chosen
to take the black pieces on Board 1+3 and the white pieces on boards
2+4. Note that Carolina defeated New York a few weeks ago using this
same color distribution.
In the Seattle vs Dallas matchup, Dallas has chosen to
take the white pieces on Board 1+3 and the black pieces on boards 2+4.
This will be the same matchup as this past week, as Dallas fought
Seattle to a draw while having white on the top board.
The lineups will be set on Sunday night, and don't forget to
tune in on Wednesday evening for some great USCL action!
