It has been a couple of years since the USCL last expanded, but the League is happy to announce the arrival of two new squads for the 2014 Season and onward.

The Atlanta Kings will be managed by Grant Oen with former Arizona Scorpions Manager NM Leo Martinez serving as the assistant maanger. The Kings roster will be headed by GM Alonso Zapata along with many players around the 2400 mark, giving them many possibilities of very balanced lineups.

The Rio Grande Ospreys based in Brownsville, Texas will draw the majority of its talent from the University of Texas Brownsville squad. UTB coach, GM Bartlomiej Macieja, will be managing the talented squad which will include Canada’s top player GM Anton Kovalyov along with GM Holden Hernandez, along with many others which should make the Ospreys a fairly top heavy squad, very capable of going head to head with any other team in the League from the get-go.

The USCL is very excited to have both squads join the fray as both should be very competitive additions to the League from the start which should only make the overall action more fierce as eighteen teams battle starting from Week 1, each having a very realistic chance to be League Champions from the start but with only one managing to accomplish it every season.
